I try to come as close to red as possible.  I did have several from last year that have white in the lobes and I threw them out on the yard, what ever happens, happens.  I have culled mine till I am down to one hen and one pullet with no white in the ear lobes.  Going to be tuff this year I am betting....

  Blue in the lobes. To be quite honest I sent Richard the trio that has blue in the lobes. I never looked at there lobes because there was not any white in them. I was more concerned about type and color. I thought the hens had real good type and the cockerel had a lot of potential. Guess I was wrong. Those darn lobes. Will get you every time. Just me.    Rog
