My gosh.  It was a chilly 36 degrees here this morning.  Yesterday it was in the high 50's .  The only cold weather we get here is in Jan,. Feb., & maybe March & then it may get down to freezing for a day or two.  We could all have a good time if you all move down here.  I have to warn you that the humidity & heat will kill you in the summer.

I'm afraid I can't take the heat and humidity even though I do think my chickens would probably be happier further south.  I guess it is all a matter of what you are used to.  Now if I could spend the winters there and you could spend the summers here -highs in the mid 80's, lows in the high 60's in August- that might be about perfect!  What we need are portable coops!  Howard
