Hi there!

We moved to the country last summer, and have finally gotten some chickens a couple of months ago.  Well, we accidentally ended up with some Nankins and I have fallen in love with them. 

I absolutely love the rooster... he is the most dignified, calm little gentleman.  We had two hens at first, but one of our dogs got to one of them.  But not before we collected lots of eggs.  We got an incubator and hatched out eight chicks, and then our hen started setting on a group of eight eggs.  Well, she hatched out three little chicks from her batch, and she is a good mama to her new babies, watching over them carefully.

I don't have any plans to show them, but I definitely enjoy having them around!

Carol,  are you still pleased with your Nankins?  In the photo they look very nice.  You should jump into showing them.  They are great birds.
